QUIK ABG. Ventilda, 3ml adult arterial gas collection syringe with 7.9 units of reduced heparin. 23 G needle. Arterial puncture is performed and aspirated to the desired volume, to later insert the needle into the safety system and press the plunger to vent. The needle is withdrawn and the black cap is placed followed by a rocking movement of the syringe to solubilize the heparin.
